Your privacy

Short version: Fred uses your info to fix your stuff and get it back to you. That's it.

What you send us

When you ask for a repair, we keep what you type in: your name, phone number, email (if you give it), what's wrong with your device, and for mail-in repairs, the address to ship it back to.

What it's used for

• Contacting you about your repair: quotes, questions, "it's ready"
• Shipping mail-in repairs back to you (your address goes on the return label)
• Keeping a record of repairs Fred has done for you

We don't sell or share your information with anyone else, and we don't send marketing.

When a request comes in, Fred gets an alert on his phone through a notification service. It says what the device and problem are and your state for mail-in, never your name, phone number, email or address.

Visit counts

The site counts page visits so Fred can see which posts bring people in. It uses no cookies and no ad trackers, just a random number kept in your browser tab that disappears when you close it. The site's fonts load from Google Fonts, which means Google sees that your browser asked for them.

Want your info removed?
